Our client is a consulting firm with clients across the Portland metro area. You will be assigned to clients as needed. This position will start with a 2-year contract project on site at a large client in Beaverton. Sr. Level

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject area
o 5 years of professional experience in IT or business
o 2 years of additional relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree
o Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable web applications
o Experience with modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, integration testing experience
o Experience with Test Driven Development
o Experience with leading projects in highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary development teams
o Experience working in a Distributed/Cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, GCE, Rackspace, Azure, etc.). AWS preferred.
o Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. Aurora, Dynamo).
o Experience with Serverless Computing/Lambda technologies a plus
o Experience delivering software using an agile development process (Scrum preferred)
o Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
o Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams
o Participating in a high functioning DevOps Scrum team, employing various XP practices
o Developing the tools and processes used to increase speed of software delivery while reducing the cost of implementation.
o Developing, debugging, and testing full stack capabilities for an ecommerce application.
o Building observable code that helps inform data driven decisions.
o Evangelizing tools and mentoring teams migrating to a Continuous Delivery process across the organization.
o Providing technical leadership and knowledge to your teammates.
o Consulting and performing engineering support, problem solving, and issue resolution with internal and external resources.
